Innovation & Discovery

Whether through Park’s academic technology program or the expansive Makerspace opportunities Park offers, children discover and share pathways to understanding through innovation and discovery – they can break apart complex ideas, make lasting sense of new ones, and enhance the collective experience. By the time they complete Grade 8, students have a toolbox filled with hands-on and digital skills that allow them to determine how to best solve challenges and celebrate their knowledge.

Becoming Problem Solvers

Our academic technology, library, and Makerspace educators partner with teachers to teach tech skills that support the curriculum and create new avenues for discovery, new ways to demonstrate understanding. As students learn new ways to generate solutions using new skills, materials, and tools,  teachers can expand the strategies they can use to advance learning.

In addition to academic technology and Makerspace education, Park offers Robotics and Coding electives in the Upper Division, and a Competition Robotics program after school.
